An update from AOK team member Ira, at the movies:On line (or “in line” as anyone outside of NYC would likely say) at Arclight’s concession stand last night. Girl immediately in front with forgotten wallet thought she had enough points for popcorn and peanut M & M’s. Didn’t notice the source of her conundrum until agitation over how long she was taking to complete her transaction brimmed from stomach to ever so slight facial contortion.Apology from girl (hope she missed my social flub). Responded “not a problem” with a smile and handed her $1 so she could complete her ideal movie viewing experience. Shared smiles, thanks, and her proclamation to “pay it forward” was my surface reward. Little did she know that AOK stretches that reward for me much further..
